India announced plans for high-speed train lines: In a statement to the Economic Times, Indian Railways Minister Sadananda Gowda said they are planning to increase the train speed to 160-200 km / h between several cities.
The Indian government plans to build a new high-speed train line connecting the cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. The project cost about 12,3 million €.
