Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Department of Transportation, Maritime Transport and Communications of Turkey Ministry of Transportation Master Plan Coordinator Dr. Demet Cavcav and his work team were welcomed in Kocaeli within the framework of the daily program 3. Technical staff from the Directorate of Strategy Development, General Directorate of Rail Regulatory Affairs and General Directorate of Highways took part in the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications. In the program, the processes of the Kocaeli Transportation Master Plan and the Logistics Master Plan were explained. Maritime Transport and Turkey which will be held by the Ministry of Communications and Transportation Master Plan Kocaeli Logistics Master Plan for Logistics Master Plan and Transportation Master Plan study was described as a model, experiences were shared in the process.
Abdulmuttalip Demirel, Head of Transportation Department in the program, talked about the structure, duties and responsibilities of the Department of Transportation within the scope of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in his opening speech. Ahmet Çelebi, Project Manager of Transportation Planning and Study, talked about the Kocaeli Transportation Master Plan and Kocaeli Logistics Master Plan process. In this part, the preparations for the tender, the experiences gained in the creation of technical specifications and the problems encountered in the study were shared.
Transportation Planning Chief Cüneyt Çetintaş mentioned the mathematical models and technical software used in the Transportation Master Plan and Logistics Master Plan and these processes in detail. After the presentations, the questions of the guests from the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications were answered and exchanged ideas.
