International Road Transport Seminar

International Road Transport Seminar: The International Road Transport Association (IRU) Academy Seminar was held in Dubai to discuss the strategies, plans and actions required to reach international transport targets and to improve trade between countries.
The opening speeches of the seminar held at the Hyatt Regency, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Public Works. Abdullah Bilhaif En-Nuaymi and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Customs and Trade Ziya Altunyaldız made.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, Nuaymi, said that the quality of service should be high as well as the preparation of transportation roads and necessary infrastructure in international transportation.
Altunyaldiz, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Customs and Trade, said that new needs are constantly emerging in trade and related sectors which are dynamic and competitive in their nature. According to the research, Altunyıldız said that the cost of moving a ton of cargo decreased by 40 per cent in the last 70 year. Altunyaldız reminded that customs are borders of a country, 40 of the time spent in the transportation of road transport is spent at customs, he said.
One of the practices between the public and private sectors in Turkey "build-operate-transfer" model also touches on Altunyıldız reminded that the benefits of implementing effective border and customs cooperation policy.
President of UAE Automobile and Tour Club Muhammad bin Sulayim, Saudi Arabia and Qatar together with the joint training programs said they do.
In his presentation, General Secretary of IRU Umberto de Pretto emphasized that IRU is a member of 75 country in 170. Customs and Trade Ministry Undersecretary Altunyaldiz Referring Ile de Pretto, during talks in Turkey's road transport, stressed that professional.
International transport to reach their destination and cross-country strategies needed to enhance trade, plans and seminar discussed the actions of Turkey in Abu Dhabi Ambassador Vural Altay, Turkey Chambers and Stock Exchanges Union (TOBB) and the International Transporters' Association (UND) officials also attended.
