Heavy rain in Germany has caused major damage to rail network

Heavy rain in Germany has caused considerable damage to the rail network: Deutsche Bahn 9 declared that the heavy rainfall in June caused great damage to the railway network in the Rhein Ruhr region. The DB said it was not known when it could return to normal operation.

The storm is tremendously destructive, damaging the overhead line and breaking down the trees. The Düsseldorf and Essen routes are disconnected from the network, and the 16 train is even on the road.
