Traffic Control of the Disabled: With the project 'We are the Gendarmerie of Bergama, the City of Firsts', co-ordinated by the District Gendarmerie Command Traffic Gendarmerie Team and Ali Rıza Primary School Special Education Class Teacher Gül Nihal Yüce in Bergama District of Izmir, young students, Traffic application on the bridge.
Disabled students wearing gendarme clothes stopped the cars and invited their drivers to obey the traffic rules and stated that everyone could be disabled in the event organized for the Disability Week and the anniversary of the Gendarmerie. Bergama District Gendarmerie Commander Gendarmerie Captain Murat Dinçer said that, with this project, we provide social messages by ensuring that our students are in social communication during road applications. He said I would like to thank everyone who provided the drivers and students with the opportunity to spend quality time by raising awareness of traffic rules. Müzeyyen Güven, one of the special education class students who applied the road application, stopped the vehicles and offered cologne and chocolate, then made warnings. Müzeyyen Güven said to the drivers that if you do not want to be disabled, follow the traffic rules and wear your seat belts. Special Education Class teacher Gül Nihal Yüce stated that they are trying to refute some unrealistic prejudices and beliefs about their students, and said that we aim to develop self-confidence, synthesis and social communication skills for our children who have a feeling of failure and inadequacy. The car driver Nasuh Acar, who was stopped while on the move with the application, said that he worked as a physical education teacher in Denizli and I applaud the Project, and I congratulate the Gendarmerie and the School Principal and their teachers for reminding them that they are members of the society by saving these children from exclusion.
