What is the Latest Situation in the Rize Cable Car Project: The expropriation works continue in the cable car project planned to be built from the Rize coast to Dağbaşı location. Within the scope of expropriation works, a total area of 480 m2 was expropriated by reaching an agreement with the right holders in Paşakuyu District. Thus, the expropriation of 30 decares of the 15 decare area to be expropriated in total was completed.
Stating that the project will make a great contribution to the tourism of Rize, Rize Mayor Prof. Dr. Reşat Kasap stated that the necessary procedures continue to be carried out by reaching an agreement with the owners.
Stating that they wanted to realize the cable car project as soon as possible, Kasap said, “According to the data we have at the moment, approximately 30 decares of the 15-decare area has been expropriated. We plan to expropriate the remaining part, taking into account the views of our citizens ”.
