The Path of the Wonder Place Köprü Waterfall Will Be Held in September

The Path of the Wonder Place Köprü Waterfall will be built in September: It has been reported that the road construction of the natural wonder Mut Yer Bridge Waterfall, which is a natural monument registered by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry General Directorate of Conservation and National Parks, will start in September.
The Yerköprü Waterfall road, located in the Evren District of the Mut district of Mersin, was closed to transportation at the beginning of March 2013 due to the rocks slipping onto the road. Although 15 months had passed, the path to the waterfall, which was a wonder of nature, could not be opened and was left to its fate.
Stating that their own power is not enough to open the waterfall road, Mut Governor Mustafa Şahin said, “It is a place where tourists flock to visit. But we had to close to transportation because the road was closed. We blocked the road that provides access to the waterfall by the massive rocks on the mountain slope of the waterfall. We made all our attempts to pave the way to the waterfall, which is one of the important tourism centers of the district and registered as "Nature Monument" by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. We are happy with the news now. 2014 project work continues rapidly. The route will be changed and a bridge will be built from there to reach the waterfall. The project was included in 2014 and an allowance was allocated. I think the work will start in September ”.
MUT YERKÖPRÜ WATERFALL
Travelers interpret the Yerköprü Waterfall, which is registered as a natural monument and located on the Ermenek Stream, as a natural wonder. In the research carried out by experts about the waterfall, 35 kilometers from Mut district center, 110 million years ago, as a result of the use of cretose aged limestones, a very narrow spring water was found.
The waterfall, which flows from a height of about 30 meters, is 200 meters long, 10 meters wide and the bottom of the water tunnel, which is a lake, contains stalactites and rich vegetation. While the cave, which is one of the most effective places and functions as a bridge, is fed by the water coming from the Gezende Dam and the mobility at the junction of the water coming out of the eye at the bottom of the rock bring the coolness, the rainbow formed at the point where the water falls offers a visual feast to the viewers.
