Along with the existing ones, 106 high-speed train (YHT) planned to be opened in the future and 106 YHT sets to be operated on high-speed train lines were included in the investment program. The first 20 sets of 70 sets of which technical specifications have been completed are planned to be manufactured from abroad and 51 sets with at least 16 percent domestic contribution. TCDD aims to produce the remaining XNUMX YHT sets within the scope of the 'National High Speed Train Project'.

TCDD has purchased 250 high-speed train sets that can be operated at a speed of 12 km / h for passenger transportation on the opened High Speed Train lines. Contracts of 300 very high-speed train sets that can speed up to 7 km per hour were signed. One of these sets was received, the production works of the others are ongoing.
