Ankara-Istanbul YHT line opens at the end of May: Lütfi Elvan, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, answered journalists' questions prior to the opening of the "Karaman Days" held at the Atatürk Cultural Center.
When asked when the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed train line will open, Elvan said that it is not possible to give a date for now, but they are planning to open towards the end of this month. Minister Elvan, on the price of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed train, said, "There will be a price that will not make our citizens suffer."

Even the new high-speed trains that will run will reach 250 mileage per hour. It is expected that the rail share with 10 will reach 78 with the YHT line.
