Lütfi Elvan, the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, announced that the work on the Ankara-Istanbul YHT line was over but in the last few weeks 60 signaling and communication cable at the 200 point has cut off the 70 rail circuit connection system. Elvan stated that this situation directly affects the tests and certification process and stated that the opening of the line could be the second half of June.
