The Italian construction company Astaldi, which has a share of 33 in the IC İçtaş and Astaldi consortium building the bridge, announced that it has provided 2.3 billion dollars financing from Turkish banks for the construction of the third Bosphorus bridge.
In the statement made by Astaldi, it was stated that one fourth of the construction of the bridge was completed. In the statement, it was stated that "The financial closure of the agreement allowed the first tranche of the loan to be used in bridge construction activities, one quarter of which was completed."
