2 workers who fell from the pier in the high speed train construction site were injured: 2 workers who fell from the pier established for the construction of the bridge pier in the High Speed Train (YHT) construction site in Sakarya's Sapanca district were injured.
The incident took place at the YHT construction site near Kırkpınar Hasanpaşa Mahallesi. Salih Çet (34) and Alpaslan Öztürkmen (36), who worked on the pier established for the construction of the bridge pier, fell from a height of about 7 meters. Other workers who saw their friends fall down, called 112 and asked for help. The wounded were taken to Sapanca District Hospital by the medical teams who came to the scene.
After the first intervention at the hospital, Öztürkmen, one of the injured, was transferred to Sakarya University Training and Research Hospital.
The police launched an investigation into the incident.
