Station Houses Bring a New Breath to Meram: The 13 registered building, which continues to be restored in the area where Konya Metropolitan Municipality High Speed ​​Train Station is located, will bring a new breath to the region with its social and cultural purpose.

The restoration of the registered buildings located next to Konya High Speed ​​Railway Station is carried out by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality. Mayor Tahir Akyürek said that the restoration works at the Station Houses in Meram region have reached the final stage and that 13 has made the restoration of the house and made it one of the social and cultural centers of the Meram region.

Reminding that they signed a protocol with the State Railways (DDY) within the framework of the restoration work, Mayor Akyürek stated that they have brought the construction of 40 flats on a part of the DDY land in Meram to the final stage. Stating that after this process is completed, the area between the Station and Meram Yeni Yol will be completely arranged, President Akyürek said, “Here, the catering places, sohbet will have venues. There will be places where visitors from outside of Konya can be hosted. "We are making the region one of our city's new attractions," he said. The restoration of 13 historical buildings built by Konya Metropolitan Municipality and new lodgings consisting of 40 flats will cost approximately 10 million lira.
