The tender for the tram line project, which will work between Sekapark and Bus Station, which was prepared to ease the transportation of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in Izmit, was held in January. Boğaziçi Mühendislik, who participated in the tender for the preparation of the application projects of the tram line planned between Sekapark and Otogar as part of the Transportation Master Plan, submitted 696 thousand 400 liras. After the related company prepared the project, yesterday, the company staff named Measurement Center started technical studies to clarify the tram route.
BEAUTIFUL ROUTE

According to the plan, the tram line will be 6,5 kilometers long. Starting from Sekapark in the West, Şehit Rafet will follow the Karacan Boulevard on the way. The tram, which will return to Gazi Mustafa Kemal Boulevard via Köse Street to the east of Doğu Kışla Park, will reach to Necip Fazıl Street and from there to Sarı Mimoza and Akarca avenues. According to the plan, the tram will only be mixed with the traffic between the Train Station and the Central Bank, and will move on its own. The 12 station was determined on the route for the tram which will be operated as a double line and a line return.
