Karaman Mayor Ertuğrul Çalışkan, who examined the works in the Urgan District, said that the first excavation was hit in the New Ring Road Project.
Caliskan who stated that the ground investigation and drilling works have been started, said:
“The first pickaxe was shot in the New Ring Road Project. Ground survey and drilling work has begun in places where viaducts to be built on the new ring road route, which is an important project for the future of Karaman. The new ring road works, which are of vital importance for the future of Karaman, started. The ring road, which we plan to complete in a short time, will be a safe and high quality road at international standards. With the completion of the Karaman-Konya road, the Karaman-Ereğli road and the Karaman-Sertavul road, which the General Directorate of Highways continues to construct, our Karaman will be an important crossing point.
