Eskişehir Chamber of Industry of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) in Eskisehir Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), signed a protocol with the binding Hasanbey Logistics Center with a 7-kilometer railway.
In his speech at the signing ceremony held in Odunpazarı Culture Center, Minister of National Education Nabi Avcı reminded that there is a promise to Eskişehir at the opening ceremony of Hasanbey Logistics Center in March.
Stating that at the request of Eskişehir Chamber of Industry (ESO) Management and Mr. ESO President Savaş Özaydemir, Hasanbey Logistics Center and OSB demanded to connect with a 7-kilometer railway connection, Avcı said:
“Regarding the subject, TCDD carried out the necessary infrastructure work on this subject, following the instructions of our Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Lütfi Elvan. A protocol was prepared by doing the infrastructure of this work. That protocol is signed today. Thus, Eskişehir OSB and TCDD will jointly provide this 7 km connection and make our Hasanbey Logistics Center much more effective and functional. ”

Özaydemir emphasized that they have longed for the longing for the Organized Industrial Zone to be connected to the railway network.
In the protocol signed today, Özaydemir stated that ESO will build its culverts and bridges.
“The duration of this is 4 months. On top of that, with the laying of the railway, we will have the opportunity to bring and load the freight trains to our Organized Industrial Zone after a total of 7 months. If you look at the size, dimensions and quality of the Hasanbey Logistics Center today, it is even above European standards. The logistics center will appeal to a much wider audience with the connection to the OIZ.
