The fact that around 15-20 animals perish every year when crossing the river, the town's brother-in-law, the contractor living in Istanbul, got Celal Toraman in action. The benevolent businessman built a bridge of 1 meters in length and 150 meters in width by spending 90 million 6 thousand liras on the Karasu river. The bridge was named after him and his wife Gül.
