Kızılay Çayyolu metro line opens today: The Kızılay-Çayyolu metro line in Ankara will be put into service today with a ceremony to be attended by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Following the Batıkent-Sincan subway line, which was opened last month, the Kızılay-Çayyolu metro line, which is expected to ease the traffic in Ankara, will be put into service with a ceremony today. The ceremony to be held for the opening of the Kızılay-Çayyolumetro line, initiated by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality and transferred to the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications in 2011, will begin at 10.00:XNUMX.

The ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Erdoğan, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Lütfi Elvan, Ankara Mayor Melih Gökçek. With the total length of 16,5 kilometers and the 11 station, the journey between Kızılay and Çayyolu is planned to take 25 minutes.

The first stop of the line will be Kızılay Metro Station, which is the passenger drop-off stop of the Batıkent line, on the route of the line, “Kızılay, Necatibey, Milli Kütüphane, Söğütözü, MTA, METU, Bilkent, Ministry of Agriculture-Council of State, Beytepe, Ümitköy,

Çayyolu and Koru ”stations.

It is aimed that the line will be finished from AŞTİ to Söğütözü stop towards the end of the year.
