Kobider President Özgenç: Trabzon Erzincan Railway Project should be put to life. Small and Medium Enterprises Association (KOBİDER) President Nurettin Özgenç stated that Trabzon-Erzincan railway project should be implemented.
Özgenç, in his written statement, specifying the establishment of high-speed train lines in many cities, or the establishment work is continuing, said:
“Nevertheless, the Eastern Black Sea still lives with the dream of the Trabzon-Erzincan railway project. This project should be implemented. Making a planned, programmed, sane start is half the finish. With this in mind, even though the tender remains for the following years, the Trabzon-Erzincan railway project should be laid symbolically on the rails and the first rail source should be made by our Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The concrete step of such a big and important project should be taken. Our city of Trabzon, which was conquered by Fatih Sultan Mehmet, where Kanuni Sultan Süleyman was born, and where Yavuz Sultan Selim was the governor, should also benefit from the railway facility required by the era. ”
Reminding that KOBİDER is included in the Trabzon-Erzincan Railway Platform, Özgenç said:
“As all non-governmental organizations that have set their hearts on this business, we must reveal our demand on such an essential issue and vocalize our desire collectively. We have to show all our efforts to get the Erzincan-Gümüşhane-Trabzon railway construction tender clearer.
