Change in Motor Vehicle Drivers Course Regulation

Changes in the Regulation for the Motor Vehicle Drivers Course: Halil Saraç, President of the Highways Traffic Safety Association, stated that the Ministry of Education Special Motor Vehicle Drivers Course Regulation has been changed.
In his written statement, Saraç stated that, according to the changes published in the Official Gazette, a certificate of fingerprinting is included among the documents to be requested from the candidates who enroll in the driving course, so as of March 11, those who enroll in the course will also have to present the fingerprint document.
For those who did not attend the theoretical and steering training courses for any reason, those who failed in the theoretical examination can continue their exams for three more semesters without continuing the course and without paying the course fees.
“As of today, the trainees who fail the driving training course exam will have to take at least two hours of driving training lessons from the course they are registered for, after each exam. This exam will be limited to three times. However, in the current practice, those who could not pass the driving exam could take an exam for three terms without the need for additional lessons. "
Saraç pointed out that the most noteworthy innovation in the regulation is related to the employees of the driving school and stated that the insurance sector is not obliged to pay premium for the new trainees.
