Pedestrian hit by freight train at the level crossing died: 48-year-old Sadık Ergül, who was hit by the freight train at the level crossing, died in Turhal District of Tokat.
The accident occurred last night in Turhal central Ray District. Sadık Ergül, who lives in the district, wanted to cross the controlled level crossing, which was closed when the freight train numbered 43364 under the management of Abdullah Önüz, who made the Sivas-Samsun flight, was approaching. However, Ergül, who was blown away after the train was hit, died at the scene. Sadık Ergül's body was taken to the morgue of Turhal State Hospital for autopsy after the investigation at the scene.
An investigation into the accident was initiated.
