Aksaray Will Meet the Railway: AK Party Aksaray Deputy Ali Rıza Alaboyun made an assessment within the scope of the projects announced by Prime Minister Erdoğan at the Aksaray rally.
Announcing Aksaray's priority projects, Deputy Alaboyun said that these projects are railway projects for bringing water from the outer basins, high speed train and freight train in Aksaray.
Deputy Alaboyun, who also conveyed information within the scope of Aksaray's railway works, said, “There are 2 separate railway projects within the scope of Aksaray. One of them is the Ulukışla-Aksaray-Kırşehir Yerköy connection. This link is a link over 200 kilometers. Therefore, this is important for Aksaray. Its importance is that our organized industry is growing very rapidly in Aksaray. We received immigration to work in organized industry from our towns and districts. There is a very rapid immigration in Aksaray with its sub-industry and sub-sectors. A strong employment area has been created in our organized industry. But when we look at some of our manufactured goods, these are bulky goods. There is a serious expense in the transportation of bulky goods. Shipping costs place a huge burden on the goods. The most important project that can eliminate this burden is the railway between Aksaray and Ulukışla ”.
Referring to the high-speed train project, Deputy Alaboyun said, “There is a somewhat long-term but very big project. It is a high-speed train project. The road to Ulukışla is also suitable for this high-speed train project, but we primarily prioritize freight transportation. Because we have urgency. But in the long and medium term, the same road will be used for high-speed trains as well. This other line is Antalya, Manavgat, Konya, Aksaray, Nevşehir and Kayseri lines. High-speed train line to be a tourism line in this region. This high-speed train line will also enable some tourists coming to Antalya region to expand their tourism area towards Central Anatolia, Nevşehir, Cappadocia and Konya. Related application projects have been completed. These will be auctioned soon. Let me say this now. Railway and irrigation facilities are large infrastructure facilities. It's not the kind of thing we can say, let's start today but end tomorrow. For example, railway works between Aksaray and Kırşehir have been continuing for 2 years. The following is important in this 2-year period. Where will this railway pass? Where do we need a viaduct? Where do we need bridges? Where do we need a tunnel? Where do I need to fill? Where is it? Where is it? Where is it? Where is expropriation? This took time. Because especially in our Konya region, between Aksaray and Adana, there may be collapses that we call pothole. It is essential to make a ground study and pay attention to such collapses. I hope the field projects and application projects are over. The implementation work of both projects is over. I hope that in a short time, allowances will be set aside and tenders will be made and these projects will be completed gradually.
