Rail Systems Center of Excellence Project

Rail Systems Center of Excellence Project: Anadolu University (AU) Rector Naci Gündoğan, regarding the Rail Systems Center of Excellence Project, said, “The facility we will build will test the train that will travel at a speed of 400 kilometers. Our horizon is now indexed to 2023. Where should Anadolu University be in the 100th anniversary of our republic, what contributions should it make to the city and the country? We are on this goal, ”he said.
Rector Gündoğan, in his speech during the visit of Eskişehir Journalists Association President Yılmaz Karaca and board members, stated that AU is a large institution with approximately 2 million graduates and 2 million students.
Expressing the serious steps towards internationalization, Gündoğan said, “We currently have a very serious presence in the Balkans. We also serve Turks in the Balkans through our offices. Anyway, our main goal is to reach all Turkish-speaking geographies ”.
Gündoğan emphasized that he wanted to produce several projects that could be applied instead of more projects.
Expressing that the "Rail Systems Center of Excellence" project, which was planned in the previous period, was very important, Gündoğan said:
“This is the project that will fly Eskişehir. It will be completely finished in 10 years. Approximately 1 billion lira of investment will come to the city. It will make a serious contribution to Eskişehir's economic, cultural, social life and employment. Very important centers will also be established here. "
Noting that the “pasture land” problem related to the center to be established on a 700-decare area in Alpu district has been resolved, Gündoğan stated that the project is out of question to go to another city from Eskişehir, since the source was reserved by them.
Gündoğan, in the center, to test the railroad vehicles will be three rails, telling the story, said:
“The facility we will build will test the train that will travel at 400 kilometers. The rail line of the train, which will speed 400 kilometers, had to be at least 45 kilometers, and the 45 kilometers of land had to be expropriated. Our horizon is now indexed to 2023. Where should Anadolu University be in the 100th anniversary of our republic, what contributions should it make to the city and the country? We are on this goal. "
On the other hand, Karaca asked Gündoğan, whom he wished success in his studies, to develop projects from Eskişehir Journalists Association and AU.
