Toptaş, Turkey Elvan Minister investments made in the railway industry in parliamentary questions given to the National Assembly asked. Toptaş gave the following statements in the question motion:
"The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), many of the concrete sleeper factory production is carried out in full capacity? How much concrete sleepers have been used in the last 5 years in railway renewal and high-speed train lines? How much of the concrete sleepers used were obtained from private companies? What is the cost of the concrete sleeper used in high speed train lines from private companies in the last 5 years? An additional factory was built 10 years ago at the factory in Afyonkarahisar, owned by TCDD. Why was the additional factory built not fully operational even though it was fully equipped? Although the former Minister Binali Yıldırım stated that the domestic railway industry was established, why does the concrete traverse factory of TCDD in Afyonkarahisar not operate at full capacity?
