Necati Şahin: We will remove the Nostalgic Tram

Necati Şahin: We will remove the Nostalgic Tram. CHP Bursa Metropolitan Mayor Candidate Necati Şahin stated that they will remove the Nostalgic Tram, which runs on the Cumhuriyet and İncirli Streets when they arrive, and they will open the Cumhuriyet Street to one-way traffic.
Continuing the election works without slowing down, Necati Şahin shared the project of lifting the 'Nostalgic Tram' in Cumhuriyet Caddesi, Kayhan and Hanlar District with a mini referendum door to door and shared with the tradesmen and citizens. Şahin, who met with about 500 tradesmen, received overwhelming support for the tram lift project. The tradesmen who showed warm interest to Şahin complained to Necati Şahin by saying, "The nostalgic tram that the Metropolitan Municipality administration has put into practice with the logic of 'I did it, done it' to do business without calculating the back of it is ending our life.
"ONLY TRAMWAY IS OPERATING"
Necati Şahin, who received approval from the tradesmen and the public for the project of lifting the Nostalgic Tram, said that the tram is not the solution to the public transportation problem. Stating that the nostalgic tram put into practice by the Metropolitan Municipality by closing Cumhuriyet Caddesi to traffic is a nostalgic image, as can be understood from its name, Necati Şahin said, “We do not need nostalgic postcard images in a place where commerce returns and Bursa's heart beats. Tradesmen closed the shutters on Cumhuriyet Street, which is the heart of Bursa's trade. The street was closed to traffic without considering transportation planning and commercial positions. "Only nostalgic trams are currently operating," he said.
Necati Sahin, the candidate of the CHP Metropolitan Municipality who stated that the Nostalgic Tram line that runs to Davutkadı is at the top of the topics to be discussed when he took office, gave the following information about the work they will do:
“I often meet tradesmen and citizens in this region, we share the project with them. We will reconsider the region and implement a project that will relieve our tradesmen and revive commercial life. We have the approval of our tradesmen and citizens in this regard. We will remove the tram line and open Cumhuriyet Caddesi to traffic as a one-way one lane. We will expand the sidewalks and open pocket parks to be used for a short time. We will also make seating groups for our citizens. Cumhuriyet Caddesi, Kayhan and İncirli will relax. "
Emphasizing that the tradesmen have an important role in the economy of the city in the region where historical Bursa is located, Necati Şahin said, “Municipalities cannot and should not do jobs that will put tradesmen in trouble and rival them. We will not be involved in any action that could be against our tradesmen. "We will be participatory democracy in our actions, we will share our projects with our people."

  1. Destroying what is happening is the best thing the CHP does! He does not say that he will open the street to tourism, but he says "I will lift the tram". Republic street was brought to tourism, cafe, bistro and so on. must be
