Fire Drill in İzbanda was Performed: In IZMIR, Izban wagons, which is one of the most important steps of public transportation, were given a fire with a possible fire and then they could occur. In the exercise area, the fire was extinguished and the wounded were interfered in the field tents where they were taken away.
One of Turkey's largest public transportation system that links the airport with the İzban, fire drill was held with the support of various institutions for possible fire. On the train carrying the Izban expedition from Alsancak station as a representative, the passengers were stopped in the smoke transfer center by stopping at the Hilal transfer center which was the first station upon the fire.
SAHRA TENT WAS ESTABLISHED
İzban, Metro, TCDD Regional Directorate, AKS, 112 Emergency and National Medical Rescue (UMKE) teams, intervened in the fire. After the evacuation of the passengers, people who were poisoned by smoke and burned in their bodies, the health teams applied their first treatments and moved them to the 60 square meters which were established soon. Only passengers affected by smoke were evacuated to other places. In the exercise, the 9 fire truck, two ambulances, the two UMKE pivots and 30 figurative team took part in the total 150. Both the Izban and other subway flights on the other side of the fire drill continued without any interruption.
CITIZENS SHOWN INTEREST
Both the rescue work in the fire drill and the victims in the areas where the wounded gathered in the station as a passenger showed great interest. Many passengers recorded the exercise with their mobile phones.
