Bilecik Provincial Coordination Board Meeting: Bilecik Province Coordination Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of Halil İbrahim Akpınar.
At the meeting in the Provincial General Assembly Meeting Hall, Governor Akpınar stated that the investments and High Speed ​​Train (YHT) project work are continuing in Bilecik, and that they have examined the construction sites with Lütfi Elvan, the Minister of Transport, Communications and Maritime. Stating that the best that can be done is tried to be done as much as nature, nature and technique allow, Governor Akpınar said:
“Hopefully YHT will open as soon as possible. The construction of the Yenişehir road will make Bilecik's people and industrialists breathe. Bilecik is a province with an annual export of 1 billion 200 million dollars and an export of 6 thousand dollars per person. It is not reflected in our official records much, because the headquarters of the companies are in Istanbul or Ankara. After all, the goods produced here are exported. 6 thousand dollars per capita in Turkey export target of 500 billion dollars of exports, we are reaching our goal in 2023. Bilecik, Turkey above the average. This is a place where unemployment does not seem too much, and everyone who wants to work can find a job. It was reported that the investor institutions and organizations carried out work on 2013 projects and sub-public investment projects as public investments within the scope of the 406 investment program in Bilecik. The number of projects completed by the end of the year is 265, the number of ongoing projects is 75, the number of projects at tender stage is 33, and the number of projects and sub-projects that have not been initiated is 33, and said, “The total allowance foreseen in 2013 is 170 million TL. Until the end of the year, 137 million lira was spent and an average of 80 percent cash realization was achieved. In our province, public investment expenditures are generally made in transportation, education, other public services and agriculture. In 2013, the transportation sector made up 43 percent of the total investment expenditures, excluding the High Speed ​​Train Project (YHT). The share of the education sector in investment expenditures is 33 percent, the share of other public services sector is 14 percent, and the share of the agricultural sector is 6 percent. Health and energy sectors share 3 percent. "
In the meeting attended by district governors, regional and provincial directors of district investors, and mayors, the projects included in the investment program of 2014 were explained by the investor organizations.
