4 highway bridge completed for extension of İZBAN line

Within the scope of extension of IZBAN line, 4 highway bridge was completed: Izmir Metropolitan Municipality completed the first productions in the works that will extend the İZBAN line to 110 and extend it to Torbalı. 61 highway crossing has been completed in the project so far 4 million spent. Izmir Suburban System, which is the biggest public transportation project in the history of the Republic, is being carried out with the cooperation of TCDD and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and works are underway for the extension of İZBAN line to Torbalı (Tepeköy). In accordance with the protocol signed with TCDD, the 30 station and 6 highway overpass are located on an additional line of approximately 9. Tekeli, Pancar, Torbalı center and Tepeköy highway overpasses were completed on the additional line that will bring İzmir suburb to total 110 kilometers. Torbalı center and Tepeköy highway crossings started to serve.
Kuşçuburnu, Menderes Gölcükler, Develi highway overpass and Cumaovası highway underpass and Tepeköy pedestrian overpass are under construction.
Metropolitan 61 invests a million

Work done
According to the protocol made by the Metropolitan Municipality with TCDD, the station works and sub-overpasses are carried out by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, while the one-line railway from Cumaovasi to Torbalı is even removed by TCDD. The construction of the protection walls of the line, signaling and electrification systems in line with the line of Aliağa-Cumaovası Torbalı Tepeköy'a extension will be done by TCDD again.
When the Torbalı line is activated, passengers arriving from Aliağa and the city center will have the opportunity of safe, fast, uninterrupted and comfortable travel to Torbalı. The passengers of Selçuk, Bayındır, Tire and Ödemiş will be able to travel by rail from Torbalı to İzmir center and from there to Aliağa.
Projects for Selçuk
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which has been continuing its efforts to develop the rail network, prepares the application projects to extend the Izmir Suburban System İZBAN to Selçuk. In this context, 26 units (Health and Selcuk stations) and 2 highway overpass and 3 type culvert highway passageway will be constructed on the 6 kilometer Selçuk line between Torbalı Tepeköy and Selçuk.
