“Regarding Ankara-Istanbul High Speed ​​Train Project, Cengiz İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. The information in the news titled “High Speed ​​Robbery” in the press about it is completely unfounded, unrealistic and intended to wear us down. The Inönü - Vezirhan - Köseköy section of the High Speed ​​Train Project remained on our commitment as a consortium with Cengiz-IC İçtaş and Chinese CRCC-CMC companies with the tender held in 2006. To give some complementary information about this commitment; The $ 720 million loan (5-year grace, 20-year term, 2% fixed interest) obtained from China Eximbank for use in this project is one of the lowest cost loans brought from abroad to date. Contract unit prices are fixed in US dollars and no price difference has been paid so far. As it is known during the construction of the business, almost all of our unit prices and main material inputs have remained below the current market prices due to the appreciation of the TL against the US dollar. In this section, which is one of the most critical and challenging routes for a High Speed ​​Train Project, no costs were avoided in order to complete the work on time and the work was completed at the level of 99%.
We believe that we deserve appreciation as a consortium for realizing such a difficult project in these conditions and prices. Contracting services abroad should be considered as a national issue because of their foreign currency earning feature.
