Undersecretary Soluk in Yozgat to examine the Ankara-Sivas High Speed ​​Train Project: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Mehmet Habib Soluk made examinations at the construction site established in the Akdağmadeni district of Yozgat within the scope of the Ankara-Sivas High Speed ​​Train Project.
In his statement after his investigations, Soluk said that they visited the construction sites on the Ankara-Sivas and Sivas-Erzincan routes. Stating that Ankara-Sivas is a difficult route for the train, Soluk said, “There are 70 kilometers long tunnels on the route. 9 of those tunnels are within 49 kilometers of Akdağmadeni construction site. The largest tunnel with its length of 5 meters is located on this route. It is aimed to complete this section between Ankara and Sivas until May 300 ”.
Stating that the superstructure tender of the Ankara-Sivas route will be held in 2014, Soluk said, “Hopefully, the Ankara-Sivas High Speed ​​Train will be connected like 2016-2017. Studies continue. Now, we will see the works of a 5 meter long tunnel continuing here together. ”
Sinan Albayrak, the chief of the site, stated that the Ankara-Sivas High Speed ​​Train Project started in Araplı village of the Yozgat stage and ended in Dokuz village of Akdağmadeni district.
Stating that this route is 49,7 kilometers long, Albayrak said, “We have 9 tunnels and 8 viaducts in the project. The total length of the tunnels is 18,3 kilometers, and the length of the viaducts is 2 meters. ”
Albayrak stated that 850 personnel are working on 210 watch basis with 24 machines in the project and said:
“The region we are in is the most difficult part of Ankara-Sivas line in terms of geographical and climatic conditions. We have progressed about 800 meters in the tunnel. Approximately 850-80 percent of 85 personnel are people of this region. In this respect, it also contributes positively to the economy of the region we work in. We also use this region's tradesmen for logistics support. In this sense, it contributes seriously to the regional economy.
