The Cable Car Project to Istanbul Bosphorus is Tender: Following the Marmaray Project, the environmentally friendly cable car project that Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality plans to build on the Bosphorus has reached the tender stage.
The cable car line to be built in the Bosphorus will cover a distance of 10 kilometers, including Mecidiyeköy, Zincirlikuyu, Altunizade and Çamlıca. The cable car, which will be able to operate even in the wind blowing at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, is aimed to carry 2023 million 27 thousand passengers for touristic and public transportation purposes in 350. There will be 10 stations on the 5-kilometer cable car to be brought to Istanbul by İBB.
