The first pickaxe is hit for Ankara High Speed Train Station: TCDD signed the contract for Limak Kolin Cengiz Joint Venture Group, which won the tender. The first pickaxe is hit in the capital Ankara's High Speed Train (YHT) Station with a "space base" look. The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), with a tender contract was signed between Limak-Kolin-Cengiz Joint Venture Group.
Ankara High Speed Train Station tender, where the build-operate-transfer model will be implemented for the first time on railways, was held on 28 August 2012 and Limak İnşaat-Kolin İnşaat-Cengiz İnşaat Joint Venture Group made the bid for 19 years and 7 months.
According to the information obtained from the AA correspondent, Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Binali Yıldırım approved the tender, TCDD and Limak-Kolin-Cengiz Joint Venture Group was signed an agreement.
After the necessary procedures are completed, the consortium will be delivered to the consortium as soon as possible, and the construction of the station will begin. As per the specification, the consortium will complete the construction of Ankara YHT Station in 2 years.

The Ankara High Speed Railway Station, which is planned to be built on the land between Celal Bayar Boulevard and the existing railway station, will be built on an area of 21 bin 600 square meters. 50 thousand per day, 15 million passengers per year capacity will be available on the ground floor of the passenger lounge and kiosks will be available. 5 star hotel will be doubled, and restaurants and cafes will be on the roof. Under the ground floor of the facility, platform and ticket sales office, and a downstairs 3 car park will be closed.
Following the displacement of the lines in the existing station, the new station will be constructed with 12 meters of length, 420 high speed trains, 6 conventional, 4 suburban and freight train lines, where 2 high speed train sets can approach at the same time.
Ankara YHT Station and the current station are planned to be used in coordination. Two station buildings will be connected underground and aboveground. According to the project, a tunnel with a walking belt will be built from the Maltepe station of Ankaray, a light rail public transportation system.
YHT Terminal was designed by considering national and international standards and by examining the structure, layout, operation and operation of high-speed train stations in other countries.
Aiming to transform Gar and its surroundings into a center of attraction for the capital, the project was designed to represent speed and dynamism and represent the new vision of TCDD, as well as today's technology and architectural approach.
The first tender was held in 2011
TCDD had announced that it will be a tender for 20 January 2011 for the fast train station in the T space base al view. The tender was postponed to 22 February 2011 because of the reservations that the companies that purchased the specification could cause problems due to the planned subway. Due to the demand of the companies at this date, the tender was postponed to 2 March 2011, Limak Construction and GMR Infrastructure Joint Venture (based in India) and İÇTAŞ and Cengiz İnşaat Joint Venture were offered. The tender for the project, which will be constructed with the total investment of 100-150 million with the BOT model, was later canceled.
TCDD then announced that the tender will be carried out at 17 July 2012 with the BOT model, but the tender was postponed to 28 August 2012 at the request of the companies that received the specification. The consortium of Limak Construction-Kolin Construction-Cengiz İnşaat gave the only bid for the tender.
