Public Transportation Week: Children Living in İzmir's Forest Villages Boarded the Suburban Train, Metro, Bus and Ferry. Children living in forest villages got on the suburban train, subway, bus and ferry within the scope of the activities organized by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality for the Public Transportation Week.
According to the written statement made by the Metropolitan Municipality, 300 primary school students who were taken from forest villages by ESHOT buses within the scope of the activities, first got on İZBAN and then on the metro.
The city tour of the students who took a souvenir photo in front of the Historical Clock Tower in Konak Square continued with the gulf tour on the Bergama Ferry. The last stop of the children was the Wildlife Park in Sasalı.
The children who went to the boathouse of the Bergama Ferry and had the experience of being a captain, albeit for a short time, described the sea they saw for the first time with their compositions.
IZBAN, ESHOT and Izmir Metro, the children of the authorities of various gifts, thanked the Metropolitan Municipality.
Within the context of Public Transportation Week, thousand 341 students were trained on the rules to be followed in public transportation.
