Ankara is counting days to the new metro

Ankara is counting days to the new subway: Batıkent-Sincan metro, whose construction and test drives have been completed by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, will be put into service in the first half of January.
The opening date of the Batıkent-Sincan metro line, whose test studies have been completed, will be determined according to the schedule of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is expected to attend the ceremony. The line will be activated in the first days of the year.
The line, whose length was 15,5 kilometers and the site was delivered on February 28, 2012, was expected to be completed by the end of 2014, including the establishment of construction, electromechanical and signaling systems. However, with the acceleration of the Ministry's work, citizens will experience the comfort of the metro, even in the first month of the new year.
The test line, which started in the summer months and consists of 11 station, will be integrated into the Kızılay-Batıkent metro line.
Line, West Center, Mesa, Botany, Istanbul Road, Eryaman 1-2, Eryaman 5, State Neighborhood, Wonderland, Fatih, GOP, OSB-Törekent stations will serve.
