Stating that the people of Trabzon had been deceived by the 'Çamburnu Shipyard Project' for years, Aydın argued that first the shipyard and then the logistics center were a lie. Expressing that their aim is to 'eat grapes, not to beat the vineyard grower', Aydın continued his speech as follows: “We, as Trabzon, do not want an investment allocated with another, but a project planned for our province and has come to the construction stage. As Trabzon, we fully support all investments to be made in our sister city Rize. Because Trabzon will benefit from the investments to be made in Rize and Rize from the investments to be made in Trabzon. In this respect, nobody can break the Trabzon-Rize friendship. I have emphasized this point in all my speeches so far. Here I want to express once again: Trabzon and Rize are always friends and will remain friends. " Underlining that it is the most natural right of the Prime Minister to invest and serve in his country as a Rize citizen, Aydın emphasized that not transferring the investments planned to Trabzon to Rize is unfair to Trabzon.
Claiming that Sürmene Çamburnu is the most suitable place for the logistics center in terms of physical conditions and cost, Koray Aydın said, “Everything is ready to build a logistics center in Çamburnu. The logistics center to be built in Çamburnu is wanted to be prevented during the construction phase. When the logistics center is built in Çamburnu, it will be closer to Rize than Trabzon. Because Çamburnu is 35 kilometers from Rize center and 49 kilometers from Trabzon center. Rize will not suffer from a logistics center to be established in Çamburnu, so Rize will benefit from this investment as much as Trabzon. " said.
Aydın argued that, according to scientific and technical reports, if the area in Çamburnu is deemed insufficient, Arsin Yeşilyalı is the most suitable place for the logistics center in the Eastern Black Sea Region. Aydın drew attention to the proximity of this place to the Organized Industrial Zone and Trabzon Port.

However, if Trabzon Logistics Center is established, the Erzincan-Bayburt-Gümüşhane-Trabzon railway project and the Batumi-Hopa-Rize-Trabzon railway project will be brought to the agenda rapidly and will be implemented. As it is known, our Bayburt and Gümüşhane provinces also support the Trabzon logistics center project. The unanimous statements made by the non-governmental organizations from Bayburt and Gümüşhane City Council are obvious. I want to emphasize once again; Trabzon is not a city to be hit on the head and take away the bread. We are not going to extend our other cheek who slaps us. " he spoke.
