In the 2001 crisis, the process which started with the political crisis between President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and Prime Minister Bülent Ecevit and then turned into a big economic crisis, had experienced a land day in our country.
In that period, things in every sector came to a standstill, banks were closed, shopkeepers closed their shutters, and people were unable to bring bread to their homes. Much has changed in our country since then. Turkey's economy in recent years has realized almost a miracle. Turkey have risen to a position to lend a Turkey that has become dependent on the IMF.
Our economy, which has been praised by the countries of the world, surpassed countries such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Portugal, and succeeded to become the 6th largest economy in Europe and to be among the 20 fastest growing countries in the world.
All these developments showed the effect of investments and services in our country. Even in an era of austerity imposed by the world's most powerful country, Turkey has made its name in the world with very large investments and projects, and continues to announce. Moreover, each of these projects is larger than all of its competitors.

THE WIDE BRIDGE OF THE WORLD
When the construction of Yavuz Sultan Selim, the third bridge that will connect Asia and Europe, which is planned to be completed in 2015, is completed, it is the longest suspension bridge in the world with a width of 3 meters and the longest suspension bridge with a rail system on it and the world's tallest bridge with a height of over 59 meters. It is a suspension bridge with a tower. If the construction of the bridge, the foundation of which was laid on May 320, 29, is completed in 2013, Minister Yıldırım will break a world record with the title of the bridge built as soon as possible.
ONE OF THE WORLD'S LARGEST AIRPORT
The third airport will be built in Istanbul with six independent runways with an annual capacity of 150 million passengers. When all sections are opened, it will be one of the largest airports in the world.
2016 will be completed by the end of October.
TREATMENT TUBE
Marmaray, whose foundations were laid in 2004 and will be inaugurated on October 29, will unite the European and Asian sides under the Bosphorus.
Railways on different continents were combined with immersed tube tunnels under the Bosphorus. Marmaray Project has the deepest immersed tube tunnel in the world, with 60, 46 meters, used by rail systems.
THE WORLD'S THIRD, EUROPE'S LARGEST SUSPENDED BRIDGE
Izmit Bay Crossing Bridge, which is under construction within the scope of the highway project that will reduce the distance between Istanbul and Izmir to 3,5 hours, is the third largest suspension bridge in the world and Europe's largest suspension bridge.
With the bridge project planned to be completed in 2015, an annual average of 615 million dollars will be saved.
TRANSPORTATION BY SEA
The construction of the tube passage, which will connect the European and Asian sides of Istanbul by underwater road, started in 2011 and will be completed in 2015. The project is performing a first in Turkey. For the first time, it can be passed under the sea by road.
