Cable car lines will surround Istanbul like a spider web: In addition to giant constructions, infrastructure and transportation works will play an effective role in Istanbul's future plans, after the Çamlıca-Etiler cable car line, which will pass through the Bosphorus, the 2-kilometer Sarıyer-Beykoz line will also be activated. The cable car project is coming between Eyüp and Sütlüce on the Golden Horn line. Planning to implement new projects in the coming period, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) is getting ready to take off, especially in the field of transportation. In this context, while the discussions about the ropeway project between Zincirlikuyu and Çamlıca, announced by Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Kadir Topbaş, continued, a new cable car line emerged. According to the plans of IMM, a new cable car line will be built between Rumelihisarı and Otağtepe on the Bosphorus. The completion date of the project, which is planned to have a length of 2 kilometers, was determined as 2023. The first one will catch up in 2015 It was decided to start the first cable car line from Zincirlikuyu, which was previously announced and planned to start from Etiler and finish in Çamlıca. This 8 km project, which will be located between Zincirlikuyu, Altunizade and Çamlıca, will be put into service in 2015. The municipality is also planning to build a cable car line to the Golden Horn between Eyüp and Sütlüce, 3 kilometers.
