China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway to start in 2014

The China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway will begin in 2014: It has been reported that the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan Trans-Asia railway project, which has been on the agenda for a long time, will start in 2014.

Kyrgyzstan Railways (KDY) Project Director Kanat Abusherimov stated that the construction of new railway will start as of next year. He said that the 257 mile long road is expected to cost about 4 billion dollars. and 500 billion 257 million dollars is cost-effective.
The final shape, which is expected to contribute significantly to the revival of the regional economy, is expected to be given at the presidents' meeting of the members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries to be held in Bishkek on 13 September.
Kyrgyzstan is planned to generate an additional $ 260 million annually from the transit of the railway in question. There will be 48 tunnels, 95 bridges and 4 stations on the road route.
