Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation in Vocational Education Project: The projects to be supported during the 2013 within the scope of the Leonardo da Vinci Program on Innovation Transfer in Vocational Training, which aims to transfer good practices in Europe to our country at the institutional and curriculum level in vocational education, were announced by the Turkish National Agency. In this context, the 33 project was allocated about 8 Million Euro grant. Through these projects, it is aimed to transfer the innovative and / or good practice existing in Europe in the different area of ​​33 of vocational training to our country and other countries which are common in these projects.

One of the areas supported by the Turkish National Agency, innovation transfer projects in vocational education, this year, the public, private sector and related institutions were shown great interest and a total of 106 project applications were received. In parallel with the number of applications, the project topics vary.

for example, in this context, Zeytinburnu Municipality vocational training while carrying our a training module for transformation into students' enterprising young country, the Republic of Turkey State Railways, increasing the professional qualifications of railway welding of workers in Turkey and to ensure the certification of our country in the European Transfer Model will ensure harmonization; Antalya Provincial Directorate of Health, fire rescue and ambulance services, special rescue techniques, Istanbul Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Union will improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises will bring innovation to our country.

When the results are evaluated on a provincial basis, as in previous years, it is seen that the capital Ankara is ranked first in terms of both the number of projects accepted and the amount of the grant allocated. Considering the number of applications accepted and the amount of the grant allocated, Ankara is followed by Istanbul, Antalya, Bursa, Konya, Canakkale, Adana, Denizli, Sakarya and Izmir respectively.
