His work on the cable car line that will connect the two continents has been substantially completed. The final version of the works was presented to President Kadir Topbaş. Giving information about the historical project, Mayor Topbaş said, “It will be important and exciting to cross from Asia to Europe, that is, from one continent to another by cable car. On the Anatolian side, both hills of Beykoz will be connected by cable car. With the project to be made between Etiler and Çamlıca, 6 thousand people per hour, 100 thousand people will pass the Bosphorus by cable car per day. ” After Eyüp and Maçka, now work is underway to build a cable car between Karlıtepe and Yuşa Hill in Beykoz. The first cable car, which will extend from Paşabahçe coast to the highest hill, will offer its passengers a unique Bosphorus view with a 2 km distance. With the cable car that will provide access to the promenade area known as Karlıtepe, the boats and yachts coming to the marina to be built on the beach will also be able to reach the picnic area to be established in the forest promenade. The second cable car line will provide access to Yuşa Hill. The tomb, located at the tip of the Bosphorus, can be reached by cable car from Ortaçeşme. The Metropolitan Municipality went on to tender for the arrangement of the Karlıtepe picnic area. After the tender, work will start for the cable car. The ropeway project will also contribute to the tourism and economy of the region.
