Expressing that 10 million people preferred buses during the Ramadan holiday last year, Erdoğan said, “This year, we aim to carry 20 million people by organizing 1 thousand buses per day during the holiday. We can carry a total of 10 million people in 10 days on vacation, ”he said.
Reminding that the occupancy rates in buses have dropped to 50 percent in the previous months, Erdoğan said:
“Companies are pleased with this intense interest in Ramadan Feast. The summer months are the months when our occupancy rates are the highest. This year, the feast coincided with the middle of the summer holiday. Assuming that the average ticket price is 40 lira, we can talk about a travel volume of 400 million lira during the feast holiday.
