Bartın - Amasra Distance Will Be In 5 Minutes

AK Party Bartın Deputy Yılmaz Tunç made examinations in the construction of Amasra Tunnel connection roads. Deputy Tunç stated that the transportation from Bartın to Amasra will be reduced to 5 minutes thanks to the tunnel and that it will be 10 minutes from Bartın-Amasra.
Mr. Tunç, accompanied by AK Party Amasra District President Bekir Karabacak and Provincial Assembly Member Uğur Timur, wished for the convenience of the workers working in the construction sector.
Deputy Tunç, who visited the construction of the Amasra tunnel between Bartın and the Amasra district on May 21, and the construction of the Amasra tunnel, which continues rapidly at the entrances and exits, intersections and viaducts, said that they planned to open the Amasra tunnel to Amasra in autumn 2013. He said that observation terraces will be built at the exit of the Minister and that local and foreign tourists will watch the beauty of Çeşm-i Cihan from the terrace. Deputy Tunç stated that the tunnel boring works of 65 meters were completed in a short period of 8 months, after a day and night work, and said, “Our road, which takes 17 minutes from the 30 kilometers long winding roads between Bartın and Amasra, will decrease to 6 kilometers with the tunnel after the tunnel is put into service, Transportation from Bartın to Amasra will be reduced to 5 minutes. Thus, our Bartın city center and our historical and touristic district Çeşmi Cihan Amasra will be united. In addition, with the opening of the Amasra passenger pier, which is still under construction, transportation from all over the world to Amasra will be provided by sea. Again, the 11-kilometer section between Bartın-Kurucaşile will be crossed by 5 tunnels. We started the construction of a total of 22 kilometers of tunnels as a round trip. Works in three of the tunnels continue with a construction site of 550 people. I would like to thank our Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, our Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Binalı Yildirim, and the employees of the Highways Administration and contractor companies for bringing these great investments to Bartın.
