Ankara-Istanbul high speed train project will be completed on September 30
95 percent physical realization was achieved in Ankara-Istanbul high speed train. Ankara-Istanbul will drop to 2023 hour in 1 with an agreement with China
The High Speed Train (YHT) project, which will reduce the travel time between Ankara and Istanbul to 3 hours, is nearing the end. The project, which progressed at 95 percent in infrastructure and 35 percent in superstructure, is planned to be completed on 30 September. If the studies carried out with the Chinese government until 2023 give results, it is planned to reduce Ankara-Istanbul to 1 hour via Bolu by speed rail. After the Ankara-Eskişehir and Ankara-Konya high speed train projects, the Ankara-Istanbul high speed train project is also approaching the end. Within the scope of the project, 30 kilometers of tunnel and over 10 kilometers of viaducts are completed, while ballast construction, traverse placement and rail laying continue. Within the framework of the project, which was realized at the level of 95 percent in infrastructure and 35 percent in superstructure, nearly 2 machines and 600 people work. In the project, another study is also carried out from Köseköy to Sapmit after Izanca. The 533-kilometer Ankara-Istanbul high speed train route will be ready for service in the next few months and test drives will begin. The opening of the line will take place on 29 October with the Marmaray Project.
45 billion dollar budget to railways
A budget of 2023 billion dollars was allocated until 45 for these projects, which will make railway transportation faster and safer. Within the scope of these projects, Ankara-Istanbul transportation time is aimed to be reduced to 3 hours and then to 1 hour by high-speed train. If the studies with the Chinese government give results, it is planned to reduce it to 1 hour between Ankara and Istanbul via Bolu by speed rail.
12 billion dollar money will be spent on the fast train
When the Ankara-Istanbul high speed train line is completed, uninterrupted passenger and freight transport will be carried out with Europe, integrated with Marmaray in Gebze. With the completion of the 533 km Ankara-Istanbul YHT project, the share of railway passengers, which is 10 percent, will increase to 78 percent. Railways, which will build 2023 thousand 2 km of high speed train lines until 197, will spend 74 billion dollars including 12 high speed train sets. With the completion of the Istanbul high speed train lines, a total of 40 million passengers will be transported annually. Annual income will be 1 billion 650 billion dollars. Due to the operation, 403 million dollars of profit will be generated annually. A fast, safe transportation opportunity will be created between Ankara and Istanbul by constructing a high speed railway with a speed of 250 km, with a double line, electrical signal.
The fee will be cheaper than the plane
TCDD General Manager Süleyman Karaman pointed out that the pricing of Ankara-Istanbul high-speed train will be cheaper than the plane, and said, “We will determine the prices in the future. We try to meet the passengers' wishes. With the Piri Reis measurement train, we take a continuous MR of the road. It stores all the information about the rail where it goes. The must have is comparing the current situation. We are scanning the whole line from centim to centimeter, and if there is a problem, we take action immediately. ”
