Turkmenistan is on its way to becoming a logistics center! : With the completion of the 926 kilometer South-North railway transportation corridor, the logistics center of Central Asia will be Turkmenistan. With the transformation into Turkmenistan's logistics center, Central Asian countries will be able to open up to the Persian Gulf through Iran.
An important stage was reached in the railway line project of Turkmenistan, Iran and Kazakhstan, which have important energy resources of the world. This project will also be the most important railway network connecting Asia and Europe.
11 which connects Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan was opened in May. Turkmen leader and President of Turkmenistan Berdimuhamedov participated in the opening.
The line, which will carry Central Asia to the Persian Gulf, is expected to be completed by the Iranian side. With the completion of this project, railway transportation will provide transportation of up to 12 million tons in the logistics sector.
