Inter-City Speed Train
Isparta Chamber of Architects President Merve Kuyu objected to the High Speed Train Project passing through Burdur, causing a "High Speed Train" fight between provinces. All actors got involved in the fight
Isparta Chamber of Architects President Merve Kuyu signed campaigns for the construction of Antalya and supported by many businessmen from Isparta against the High Speed Train Project to pass through Burdur, causing a "High Speed Train" fight between provinces. Ak Party Burdur Deputy Bayram Özçelik, Ak Party Deputy Chairman and Antalya Deputy Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Burdur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Yusuf Keyik participated in the fight.
Kuyu, a candidate of the Isparta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ITSO), stated that the High Speed Train line will pass in front of the MAKÜ campus between Antalya and Burdur and said, “Students who will take the high-speed train from Antalya, Afyonkarahisar or Ankara will be able to reach the MAKÜ campus in 30-40 minutes. . How will you attract this student to SDU? This is the greatest danger Isparta will face in the future ”he said.
Kuyu made a new statement upon the public reaction of this statement and said that it was never against the High Quality High Speed Train (YHT) Project to be built on the Istanbul-Isparta-Burdur-Antalya Line. Expressing that she was eager for this project, Merve Kuyu said that her only objection was the choice of the Main Station in the Draft Project. Indicating that the Main Station is opposite the Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU) Campus in Draft, Kuyu said, “This is not fair. This is a clear injustice to Isparta. We do not want Burdur's word to be heavy nor Isparta's word to be heavy at the main station. Let YHT Main Station be in the middle of these 2 distinguished cities. “The ideal address for this is Gümüşgün, which is cut out”.
MESSAGE FROM BURDURLULARA
Defending that it is not right to present the objection to Isparta's injustice as 'being against the high-speed train', Kuyu said, “We do not intend to do so, even a drop. I, Dr. Merve Kuyu, I'm dying for the high speed train. While I am saying this, I am never hostile to Burdur. Burdur is our partner in destiny. Our friend, neighbor, our strategic partner in development. Their goodness makes us happy, their troubles sadden us ”.
IMMEDIATE RESPONSE FROM ÖZÇELİK
Ak Parti Burdur Deputy Bayram Özçelik made a statement with jet speed to the statement made by Merve Kuyu about the 'High Speed Train' project. Emphasizing that Kuyu's statement is not correct, Özçelik said, “It is not very correct to use this subject as a material for room selection. We, as Burdur-Isparta, have goals. Therefore, the lady should not feel uncomfortable in these matters. If Burdur develops, Isparta grows, if Isparta grows, Burdur develops. He said, "He should never forget this."
Within the framework of 2023, Eskişehir-Afyonkarahisar-Burdur-Bucak and Analya High Speed Train Project is 423 kilometers. Emphasizing that all kinds of infrastructure and ground works have been completed, Özçelik said, “There is even a project determined by route flights by plane. We have held several meetings with our ministers as regional deputies so that this project can be carried out quickly. We made discussions as to whether we can do this faster before reaching 2023. Therefore, the fact that the high-speed train route passes through Burdur will not disturb Isparta, ”he said.
LAST POINT FROM ÇAVUŞOĞLU
Ak Party Deputy Chairman and Antalya Deputy Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu put the last point for the YHT project, in which the people of Isparta and Burdur were fighting with each other especially about the station. Saying that it is now known what EXPO 2016 will bring to Antalya, Çavuşoğlu said, “2016 will be a milestone for us and its reflection in the region will be great. High speed train is planned. He put an end to the discussions by saying that planning is being made to include Alanya and Gazipaşa through Konya and the studies have also gained momentum.
Burdur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BUTSO) President Yusuf Keyik stated that he read the statements of the President of Isparta Chamber of Architects Merve Kuyu about the high-speed train project with great surprise. Keyik; “In these two judgments alleged to belong to the Kuyu, it is clearly seen that these statements are nonsense evaluations. First of all, it is stated that Isparta's significant majority of businessmen do not agree with this idea. Second, it is obvious that transportation is not the primary factor in choosing universities. The main preference is the quality of the university and the values that the student promises for his future life ”. Emphasizing that the station to be established in Baladız will provide equal opportunities for both provinces and universities, Keyik said, “Whoever gets in front of the High Speed Train will commit suicide”.
