The Claim of Cable Theft from Bilecik YHT Construction Site
Five people allegedly stealing copper cables from the High Speed Train (YHT) construction site in Bilecik's Osmaneli district were detained.
Allegedly, working as an electrical, maintenance and repair officer on the site, A.Ö. (39) took the 11 tons of copper cable found in the tunnels to the forest area in Akpınar District of Bozüyük district with the 105 DL 2 plate van belonging to the subcontractor firm.
Gendarmerie teams tried to load the cables into 26 KY 311-plate trucks A.Ö, Y.Ş. (33) and Y.Ç. (36) and the scrap dealers who allocated the truck in line with their statements detained MA (41) and C.A (50).
The suspects, after the completion of the query was sent to court.
