Stating that the work took place as planned, Yıldırım continued:

“We don't have any significant delay or trouble. Here we will examine the line between Yenişehir. This line will be connected to Bilecik after Yenişehir, after 75 kilometers. Work was done on 5 routes for connection to Bilecik. This is one of the most difficult geographies. One of these 5 routes was decided. More detailed project work is now ongoing there. Project work will be completed by the end of June. After that, of course, the Yenişehir-Bilecik connection tender of the second section will be made. Thus, when the line is finished, Bursa connection will be made to both Ankara and Istanbul in 2 hours and 15 minutes. Therefore, Bilecik is not only the land where the Ottoman Empire was established, it is not only a place where 4 regions like the Marmara Central Anatolia Black Sea meet, but also a city where the high-speed train network meets. In this respect, we make every effort to ensure that the project is completed without delay. Until today, the amount of our spending for highway and railway in Bilecik has exceeded 3 trillion 6 million liras.

2023 projects

Yıldırım said that Marmaray is also a continuation of this project.

Stating that the Bosphorus crossing of Marmaray will be completed simultaneously with the High Speed ​​Train project, Yıldırım said:

“In the project, a separate work is also being carried out from Köseköy, Sapanca to İzmit. The 533-kilometer Istanbul-Ankara high-speed train route will be ready to be put into service in the next few months. Most of the work has been completed. Our aim is to provide the comfort and comfort that our people deserve and travel opportunities. We strive for this. Time is coming for this too, and time is running out slowly. I hope we will complete this project within this time. "

Emphasizing that they will lay the foundations of the 29rd bridge in the 560th anniversary of the Conquest of Istanbul on May 3 with the participation of the President, the Speaker of the Parliament and the Prime Minister, Yıldırım said that they will put a third necklace in Istanbul.
