Lost in a mentally disabled life
A mentally disabled person died in Adana after being hit by a freight train.
The incident occurred at 05.20 at a distance of 100 meters from the Yeşilevler level crossing on the railway passing through the Yeşilevler District. The mentally handicapped person, whose name was learned to be Kürşat, was hit by the freight train that was going from Adana to Mersin direction while passing through the railway. Kürşat, who drifted about 30 meters due to the impact, died at the scene. Upon the notification of the citizens who saw the accident, police teams were dispatched to the region. A statement was taken by the police from the driver of the train that stopped after he hit a person named Kursat.
Railway closed to transportation after the accident, then the other way was opened in a controlled manner. The investigation of the case is continuing.
