Binali Yıldırım made investigations at the Bandhı-Bursa-Ayazma-Osmaneli High Speed ​​Train Project in Karahıdır Construction Site in the Yenişehir part of Bursa.

Minister Yıldırım, who came to Bursa later, was briefed about the latest status of the project. Minister Yıldırım stated that they regularly inspect big projects on construction sites every month, and that their investigations continue in the Marmaray and Ankara metro projects.

Minister Yıldırım said, “From this month on, we have included the Bursa-Ankara and Bursa-İstanbul project in this group. We also inspect the Istanbul-Bursa-İzmir highway every 2 months. ” said.

Stating that they left 6 months behind on the route between Bursa and Yenişehir, Yıldırım continued as follows: “On 23 December we laid the foundation. There is a tunnel length of 16,5 km on the line. It consists of a total of 12 tunnels. There are viaducts. We cross the Bursa-Yenişehir divided road at 3 points with a viaduct. There are a total of 9 viaducts and 12 tunnels. 23 km out of 3 is a large art structure. There are fillings and cuts in other parts. These are around 3,5 million cubic meters. We came to a good point in 6 months. There is over 20 percent progress. This progress is a result despite the liquefaction of the ground. ”

Explaining that they will have done about 3 times more work on the high-speed train until the end, Yıldırım said, “This is 80 percent. We will be able to enter the superstructure in the next year. At the same time, the necessary projects were carried out for the remaining 30 kilometers of Yenişehir-Bilecik stage. Although this is 30 kilometers, it is perhaps the most difficult part of the line. Because within 30 kilometers there are 12 tunnels and 12 viaducts. The longest tunnel ever built by Railways is here. More than two in 3 of the line were tunnels and viaducts. If we consider that this line will carry both passengers and cargo, the route should have low slopes. ” said.


Regarding whether the second and first part of the project will be completed simultaneously, Yıldırım said: “We cannot predict the ground conditions since we will always work with tunnel and viaduct. The 8,5 kilometer tunnel is a thousand days if we go from 8,5 meters a day. It takes 3 years. The tunnel determines the duration of the project. There is a situation in that section. If this ground conditions are good. Our goal is to complete this project simultaneously. Even if it deviates, that deviation will not change much. ”

Explaining that 2,5 billion TL has been completed in the field of transportation, Yıldırım said, “The highway and high-speed train project is 3,5 billion. So there is a total of 4 billion ongoing projects. Whatever we do to Bursa suits. Bursa is a city that produces and supports our country with its production. The route, which covers the 41st and 116th kilometers of the Bandırma-Bursa-Osmaneli-Ayazma-İnönü Railway Project, starts with Bursa Station parallel to the Nilüfer Stream and continues from the north of the city center parallel to the highway, via Demirtaş, Kazıklı, Barakfakih, Turanköy and Airport. It reaches Yenişehir. The aim of the project is to connect Bursa, Ankara and Istanbul by rail to the Eskişehir-Köseköy Railway line, which is under construction in the region, with a suitable route after Yenişehir. The project, 24 percent of which was completed, started on January 13, 2012. The amount of the project, which will have 913 days to be completed, will be 393 million 170 thousand 105 TL. In the project, 50 technical personnel, 650 art class personnel, 1 main construction site, 5 secondary construction sites are working in accordance with the work schedule.
