Antalya Governor Ahmet Altıparmak invited Chinese businessmen to invest in agriculture, high-speed train, marina and solar energy. Altıparmak headed West Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA) delegation of Turkey-China Businessmen Friendship and Solidarity Association (TÜÇİAD) and Antalya Exporters' Association (AIB) continues working trip to Shandong province in collaboration with. The delegation, recognized at the highest level by Shandong Governor Guo Shuqing, attended the meeting in the capital city of Jinan. Speaking here, Governor Altıparmak expressed his appreciation for the hospitality and said that he was also very happy to be in Confucius' hometown of Shandong.
Ahmet Altıparmak, who also gave information about Antalya, stated that the two cities are very similar and that Antalya is the first in the country in agricultural production. At the end of the meeting, a protocol was signed between the parties to increase trade, investments and cooperation especially in agriculture. Governor Guo Shuqing said they believe they will strengthen the cooperation laid by this protocol. The cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing the economic relations between the two sides in the field of agriculture, tourism and trade includes the exchange of information and experience. The protocol will be implemented by BAKA and Shandong Foreign Relations Office.
